Two concepts which may be interlinked, though they share many differences. Let’s take a look:

A great example of a recognition tool developed by the European Union for young people participating in Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps projects is YOUTHPASS, which offers formal validation in NFE, allows personal reflection and involves many key-competences: Multilingual Competence, Mathematical and Science Competence, Digital Competence, Personal, Social, and Learning to Learn Competence, Civic Competence, Entrepreneurship Competence, Cultural Awareness and Expression, and Literacy Competence.
